Seahawks ink Anthony McCoy to 4-year deal
Anthony McCoy left the draft board in the later rounds, but he becomes one of the earliest rookies to be signed. On Tuesday, the tight end agreed to a 4-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
McCoy tumbled to the sixth round after a positive test for marijuana threw a monkey wrench into early round projections. The further the plunge, the smaller the contract, and this is reflected in Aaron Wilson’s report:
If the former Trojan plays to his potential, the Seahawks got a steal.
