Justin Davis is 7th commitment to USC class of 2013
Just two days after Ty Isaac committed to the rebuilding of the Southern California backfield, another 4-star running back steps forward to pledge his services. Justin Davis (Stockton, CA) gave a strong verbal to USC on Thursday, becoming the seventh commitment to what is shaping up to be a stellar class.
“My decision really comes down to how USC will get me ready for the NFL. I feel USC just sets me up so well for later in life. It’s not just about football either. USC offers so many opportunities athletically and academically.”
The 6’1, 195 pound tailback has drawn comparisons to Eric Dickerson, and Oklahoma, Florida State, Nebraska, and Michigan are among the schools that offered a scholarship. Davis’ list also included several Pac 12 foes, as well as rival Notre Dame.
Davis rushed for 2,380 yards and 36 touchdowns as a Junior for the Lincoln High School Trojans in 2011.
